South Philly Punks with Lunch provides our guests with a wide variety of items and we are always accepting physical contributions:

  • Adult clothing in all genders, seasonally appropriate
  • Tents and sleeping bags
  • Backpacks and luggage
  • Hygiene and menstrual products
  • Disposable food containers and cutlery
  • Cases of bottled water and other beverages
  • Commercially packaged snacks and easy to prepare foods like ramen
  • Books and magazines
  • Reusable shopping bags
Cash donations can be made directly to our Venmo @punkswithlunch or on our CashApp $phillypunks. 

Serving our neighbors takes a lot of work! With 3 days of robust lunches with distributions each week paired with over 40 pickups a month, we are always in need of volunteers, especially those with cars. Keep an eye out on our social media for regular new volunteer orientations and other opportunities to get involved.

Food Not Bombs offers additional meals on Saturdays at Mifflin Square Park.

The People’s Kitchen has hot meals, several days a week.

Our closest County Assistance (Welfare) Office is at Broad and Federal and it is best to go in person.

Broad Street Love is further up Broad Street and offers a variety of services including mailboxes.

The Office of Homeless Services is best accessed in person at one of their two intake centers. We recommend going early.

The Hub of Hope is underneath City Hall and is a great place to get inside and access medical and case management services.

This website was built by Jessica Kalup and is dedicated to her cousin Chris Kalup who died of overdose in 2005.
